Your Role :
The MA position is an integral part of the ambulatory practice. This position is responsible for managing patient flow, rooming patient and keeping providers on time.
They ensure available results are updated in the EMR so the provider has all the information to manager the patient's care.
The MA completes all refills according to the policy, and responds to patient messages. They function as a member of the clinical team performing a supportive role in the delivery of patient care that is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) :
or 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting (equivalent experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis).
License / Certifications : Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification preferred or achieved within 1 year of eligibility.
Current BLS certification within 3 months of hire required. An NH Med Tech License is required for those positions located in New Hampshire.
Experience : 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or 6 months of experience and certification required. Additional Skills / Requirements Required : N / A Additional Skills / Requirements Preferred : N / A
