Facilities Performance Group - 2ND SHIFT CUSTODIANS IMMEDIANTE HIRE

We will be hosting walk in interviews Tuesday (5/14) from 8:30am till 2:30pm and Wednesday (5/15) from 8:30am till 2:30pm at 4032 Kollman Rd Indianapolis IN. We are looking for a responsible custodian to maintain and protect our facilities. The external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. It is important for a custodian to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises, as well as preventing vandalism. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building upkeep. They will have great physical endurance to cover a large space. A keen eye for detail and diligence are imperative in custodial maintenance jobs.

Position: Custodian

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46241

Shifts: (Full-Time positions ONLY)

First Shift - 6:00AM - 2:30PM

Second Shift - 1:30PM - 10:00PM

Third Shift - 8:00PM - 4:30AM

Rate of Pay: $15.00/hour

Position Description:

Under limited supervision, Custodians are responsible for cleaning and maintaining public and private facility areas, premises of office buildings, restrooms, hallways, and all assigned areas.

Examples of Work:

• Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces(dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
• Washes windows and mirrors.
• Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap)
• Wipes down and sanitizes surfaces.
• Follows health/safety rules and precautions.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and practices; safety precautions related to cleaning equipment
• Ability to perform above duties which may involve standing, bending, and kneeling for periods of time, climbing stairs.
• Ability to follow instructions; operate commercial cleaning equipment (not required but is preferred)

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Those who apply are subject to a Federal Background Check (no felonies or violent crimes) and Drug Screen.
• Must be at least 18 years old .
• Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have two forms of ID (must be legible/name matching) State ID, Driver License along with a long version birth certificate or social security card.
• Must have lived in the United States the past consecutive 5 years.
