- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle
- Control and adjust machine speed settings
- Feed polyester material to semi-automated machines
- Inspect batting fibers to ensure precision
- Test operation of machines periodically
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Keep records of approved and defective products
- Maintain activity logs
- Proven experience as a Production Attendant or Machine Operator
- Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
- Must have the ability to work well with others quickly and efficiently with little supervision
- Must be oriented and maintain good attendance
- Demonstrates ability to take and follow directions and complete work goals as a team
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One or more year(s) experience working on a production line
- A basic understanding of manufacturing processes is a plus
