Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000 a year (DOE)

Job Description

Plan, coordinate and communicate daily truck and equipment dispatch needs. Coordinate pickup and delivery of materials for jobsites. Aid in centralized communication for trucking, equipment, support materials, and job supplies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and communicate daily trucking and equipment dispatch needs. Coordinate, pick-up, and delivery of materials for jobsites
  • Assist Field managers with Mobilization and Demobilization schedules for job sites.
  • Analyze and report on equipment and truck utilization.
  • Schedule trucking and equipment usage and communicate schedules to job managers via dispatch and fleet management software.
  • Track project materials, support equipment and deliveries
  • Coordinate help with delivery of items for jobs.
  • Engage with shop personnel to coordinate repair scheduling and equipment/trucking downtime.
  • Communicate with vendors and service providers for rental and transportation needs.
  • Support Equipment/Yard manager and CFO with financial data and metrics
  • Compile and analyze fleet trends and communicate to management to improve fleet efficiencies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to field staff and project management.
  • Keep and provide information for locations for purchasing materials for trucking and job needs.

Required Education

  • Ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in Dispatch coordination.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Suite and e-mail communication
  • Functions effectively as part of a team
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency. Ability to use dispatch software programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and leadership skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Procore a plus, but not required.
  • Physically fit and able to work vigorously.
  • Able to push, pull, and lift weights of at least 50lbs.
  • Broad understanding of construction industry
  • Ability to always maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions.

Preferred Experience

  • Proficient with most computer programs such as Bluebeam, Microsoft office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
