We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join our team. As a Technical Lead, you will spend 75% of your time on technical work that is client facing and 25% of your time providing technical guidance to our internal team. The Technical Lead's primary responsibility is working complex issues/projects from networking (switching, firewalls), server administration (virtualization, Windows SVR), backup and disaster recovery solutions, and cloud solutions (Azure, SharePoint, etc).

The candidate must be a jack of all trades (server administration, networking, firewalls, backups, cyber security, etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support server architecture including Windows Server, SQL, VMWare, etc.
• Experience with configuring business-class firewalls and VPNs.
• Knowledge and experience with setting up and maintaining Windows Domains, GPOs, and Active Directory
• Work with clients, vendors, and 3rd party consultants to implement technical solutions projects for infrastructure and desktops.
• Ability to work independently and with a team of technicians.
• Design, Implement, and Support disaster recovery solutions.
• Technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
• System documentation maintenance and recommendations.
• Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes, and agreed outages.

Qualifications:

• Professional IT Certifications, such as: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate, Cisco CCNA, or VMware VCP
• Advanced understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network systems.
• Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care.
• Advanced troubleshooting of technical issues.
