- Inventory Management:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels of fiber optic cables, equipment, and related components.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure adequate stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Receipt and Dispatch:
- Oversee the receipt of incoming materials, verifying accuracy, quality, and quantity.
- Coordinate the dispatch of materials to project sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project schedules.
- Maintain proper documentation and tracking of shipments to ensure traceability.
- Own inventory transactions and processing within ERP system to ensure accurate inventory levels within system.
- Warehouse Organization:
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and facilitate easy access to materials.
- Implement efficient labeling and tracking systems to streamline inventory management and retrieval processes.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the warehouse.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, receipts, dispatches, and other warehouse-related activities.
- Generate reports on stock levels, warehouse efficiency, operational performance, and any other relevant metrics.
- Analyze data and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- 3 years warehouse experience.
- Previous experience in warehouse management or supervision, preferably in the FTTH or telecommunications industry, a plus.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
- Familiarity with fiber optic cables, equipment, and related components would be advantageous.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
