Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop construction documentation to include Architectural, Electrical, and Reflected Ceiling Plans.
- Complete Architectural Sections, Elevations and Details including Millwork drawings.
- Coordinate and facilitate the integration of drawings from architects into Eye Designs AutoCAD Standards.
- Review contracts and drawings for changes upon return from clients; consulting with clients and/or Sr Designer as necessary.
- Create efficient floor plans to optimize patient flow as needed.
- Additional responsibilities available based on experience.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; AutoCAD Architectural preferred.
- Highly detail oriented individual with ability to multitask.
- Solid knowledge of construction documentation.
- Proven ability to space plan utilizing client programming.
- Follow Design Department standards for AutoCAD drawings.
- Ability to work effectively as a part of a team and individually.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design. NCIDQ preferred.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of Commercial Interior Design experience.
- Experience creating space plans and developing full set construction documents.
Physical Demands: While performing duties of the job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
