Eyas Landing is accepting internship applications for future openings. This role is best for those who are looking to receive college course credits and gain experience working in a pediatric healthcare setting.

This position involves observing individual therapy sessions and small group therapy sessions of 4-6 children with the oversight of a licensed therapist and observing our therapeutic team of specialists. Experience working with young children is highly preferred. The ideal candidate is one who is passionate about working with young children and driven to develop professionally.

Prospective Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Physical Therapy, Social Work, and Developmental Therapy students are strongly encouraged to apply.

Internship Features:

• Observe clients in our program.
• Daily participation in individual and group therapy sessions.
• Assist with meal prep and clean up for feeding therapy and snack.
• Assist in therapy room and lesson preparation
• Observe the collaboration of therapists on team intervention plans, behavior and sensory strategies, and daily activities.
• Participate in mentorship meetings with the therapist type of your choice, if enrolled in an internship class.

Preferred Hours:

Mondays 3-6:30pm and Thursdays 3-6:30pm

Requirements:

• Some college course completion preferred
• Experience with children with special needs a plus
• Must be strongly interested in pursing a degree in the field
