Blue Bird Day is accepting internship applications for future openings. Blue Bird Day offers internships during our spring session (January to May) and our summer session (June to August). Applications will be reviewed and interviews conducted during the months of December and April. This role is best for those who are looking to receive college course credits and gain experience working in a pediatric healthcare setting.
This position includes opportunities to observe child-led therapeutic intervention in a group setting, led by licensed therapists across a variety of disciplines, as well as participating and supporting the day-to-day operations of a multidisciplinary clinic. Experience working with young children is highly preferred. The ideal candidate is one who is passionate about working with young neurodiverse children and driven to develop professionally. Students interested in learning more about the fields of occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, physical therapy, social work, and developmental therapy are encouraged to apply.
Please note, this internship offers the opportunity to observe and support across the many facets of our clinic to gain knowledge and experience from our skilled team of providers.
