The Specialist, Procurement is responsible for the preparation of bid documents, rf(x) and issuance or purchase orders. Under minimal supervision, will be responsible to develop key procurement documents to be included in the rf(x) process.
Will provide input on strategic procurement planning for various categories. The Senior Buyer will develop, in accordance with the Procurement Manager’s direction, the procurement plan to meet project and business objectives.
Will also be responsible for the assembly and administration of any purchasing related documents to support the Procurement Manager or Director Procurement.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related required
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred
Apics Certification preferred
3 years of Procurement / Sourcing experience
Experience working in Procurement in manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, high tech or construction environment
Experience working in projects in a construction / project environment preferred
Project management experience is desirable
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong business acumen
Strong project management skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
SAP, Oracle, Ariba experience preferred
