Exterior Solutions Plus is Hiring a Construction Estimator Near Arvada, CO
Position Overview
Our privately held construction/exterior renovation company is growing and in need of a Construction Estimator. This position is key to the success of the company, and the successful candidate will collect and analyze data according to a series of useful variables in order to calculate costs and gains of projects. The ideal candidate will be very comfortable with numbers and analytical. You must have great attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
The goal is to provide the company with accurate information that will help in operations and strategic planning. The position will report directly to the President and be responsible for effectively interacting with Clients, Sales, and Project Managers.
Requirements
- Must have an exceptional work ethic.
- Must be competent in Microsoft Office.
- Must have experience in Excel.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have superior time management skills.
- Must be organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Construction/Renovation Experience
Preferences
- Experience with Buildertrend Software.
- Construction/Renovation Experience (7 years)
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire understanding of the requirements of the project/program at hand
- Select metrics to produce valid estimates
- Visit sites to gather essential information
- Review documents or consult experts to collect all necessary data
- Prepare detailed takeoffs and bids
Education
· Education or experience in Estimating or Construction or Project Management is required.
