Extension is seeking a Payroll Manager for a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Wauwatosa, WI.

Role Responsibilities:
The Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the day to day payroll operations as well as managing the payroll team.
- Manage the daily activities of the payroll team
- Responsible for overseeing end to end payroll processing for a high volume of employees in multiple states with various payroll frequencies
- Manage payroll tax in multiple states
- Lead all internal and external audits, ensuring compliance
- Manage the payroll and timekeeping systems, assist with training end-users on the systems
- Lead and implement any departmental process improvements as necessary
- Respond to and resolve any payroll related inquiries/discrepancies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 8 years of progressive payroll experience, with 2 years in a supervisory/manager role.
- Multi-state payroll processing experience required
- Strong payroll systems knowledge and experience, with additional experience leading software implementations
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Salary Information:
- $100K-$130K
