Overall Purpose of the Job

Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material;

receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

• Oversee the shipping of completed jobs as assigned by Supply chain and Sales staff.
• Work with and schedule trucking companies that are hired to load out or deliver customer strings of pipe.
• Ensure accuracy of all delivery tickets, trucking paperwork and receipts for the goods being shipped or received.
• Assist Inventory personnel in cycle counts and end of year Tubular inventory of pipe and connectors.
• Ensure pipe and connector products are properly bar-coded and managed in the inventory system.
• Keeping the fabrication shop supplied with proper materials for timely job completion.
• Helps with other yard activities when additional help is needed, filling in for employees out sick or on vacation.
• Comply with all Expro Policies and procedures.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Skills in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
