Trissential is currently seeking a QA Automation Lead with cards and payments background to join our dynamic team in Alpharetta, GA.

Responsibilities

Role Purpose:

• Directs and manages the full project life cycle, setting standards for assignments and applications.
• Responsible for the delivery of the defined work packages to the client and providing effective management to teams and giving guidance to others and key business users.
• Takes technical responsibility and provides management for all stages and/or iterations in a project, providing advice and guidance to others and key stakeholders whilst meeting on-time and on-budget project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops strategies and directs teams within complex medium-large scale projects with diverse scope ensuring that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are signed off.
  • Proactively aims to achieve personal and team utilisation targets.
• Responsible for overall data analysis and programming tools and techniques, advises on selection of appropriate methods and their application, and ensures compliance by other team members.
• Uses project planning tools and participates in the identification of and planning for future resource needs.
  • Develops a fit-for-purpose reporting mechanism.
• Allocates and coordinates schedules, work and resource plans, managing progress of all activities against the plan, and managing own deliverables and that of others to meet delivery deadlines.
• Provides quality engineering evaluation estimates on various projects, including the ability to execute vision, goals and direction of a team/teams.
• Manages the application of data analysis and data modelling techniques.
  • Consults with key business stakeholders to ensure application design is optimised for testability, prepares technical plans and provides advice on technical aspects of system development and integration.
• Provides solutions and uses appropriate tools, including logical models of components and interfaces, to contribute to the development of system architectures.
• Determines criteria for assessing issues and opportunities and identifies relationships and linkages between different information sources.
  • Anticipates potential problems and develops solutions needed to resolve them. Reviews and cross-reviews reports.
• Creates quality engineering procedures and user instructions to ensure a reusable process and tools approach.
  • Defines and implements quality engineering process improvements and metrics.
• Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies for projects or release level.
• Inputs into proof of concept exercises and assists sales with pre-sales collateral.
  • Identifies opportunities to expand client assignments.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience

• ISTQB Advanced

• Card payments domain background essential
• Senior level experience in setting up and running multi-user automation frameworks across major clients
• Create, manage and maintain automation approach
• Setup frameworks and monitor
• Governance and Support of automation team,
• Innovations and developments
• Interface with dev and technical teams
• Tech stack – Java, Selenium, AWS, RestAssured
• Familiar with build and deploy tools (Jenkins, Maven etc) and opensource automation tools and methodologies e.g. BDD, specflow, cucumber, selenium, POM frameworks

Desirable:

• Additional course or certification in Quality Engineering
• Certification in NFT Tools such HP QTP, Selenium, HP LR etc.

• Extensive application/technology and tool/framework knowledge and has recognised expertise including participating in the identification of and planning for future resource needs.
• Has in-depth knowledge of specific specialisms, and can provide expert advice regarding their application.
• Experience in producing detailed component specifications and translating these into detailed designs for implementation using selected products.
• Experience in providing guidance to resolve issues, probing and initiating research to identify critical problems.
• Experience in advising clients and clearly communicating the benefits of implementing specific quality engineering solutions and identifying areas to add value.
• Advanced experience in data and test automation tools such as HP UFT /QTP, HP Service Test, Service Virtualize, Selenium, IBM Rational Integration Tester, Rational Robot, Borland SilkTest, TOSCA, Atlassian Jira, Jenkins, Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin etc.
• Proficient in Java 
• Good in VB scripting looping, conditions, standard functions, file handing etc. Hands on experience in writing excel macros.
• Proficient in automating web, java and .net applications.
• Experience with Selenium and agile methodologies and tools.
• Experience in executing PoCs, evaluation of various tools as required and presenting to clients.
• Hands on experience in SoapUI, JMeter is an added advantage.
