We are seeking a QA Automation Architect to join our client team in Appleton, WI. This position is preferred to be Hybrid, 2 days a week onsite.

Responsibilities

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Architect to lead our automation efforts and drive excellence in software quality assurance. As a QA Automation Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks, tools, and strategies to ensure the reliability and scalability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with development teams to integrate automation into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline and streamline the testing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, extensive experience with test automation tools and frameworks, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.Duties And Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable and maintainable automated testing frameworks and strategies.
  • Lead the automation efforts throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to post-release validation.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify opportunities for test automation and implement automated test cases.
  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and delivery.
  • Define and evangelize best practices for automated testing, including test data management, test environment setup, and test case design.
  • Mentor solution teams on automation best practices and provide guidance on test automation implementation.
  • Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in test automation and incorporate them into the automation strategy.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or in a related field.
  • 10 years of Software Quality Assurance and Automation and\or architecting enterprise solutions experience.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium or Katalon.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C#.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Azure Pipelines, or Jenkins.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

  • Property & Casualty insurance industry process knowledge is a plus.
  • Previous experience implementing an enterprise insurance suite (Duck Creek core product suite).
  • Relevant QA Automation certifications.

Benefits

Trissential offers a competitive rate for the QA Automation Architect, ranging between $120,000 to $155,000 annually. Full time employees are eligible for a full package of benefits including company sponsored health care, accrued paid time away from work, and 401k with matching.
