Trissential is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer, AI Infrastructure to join our client team in Rochester, MN. This position is a Remote role and only open to candidates who are eligible to work in the US and live/work within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Architect and Build Scalable Infrastructure:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including data scientists, engineers, and product teams) to design, build, and maintain robust infrastructure that supports AI software development.
  • Develop scalable solutions that enable consistent and automated deployment of AI models.
• ML CI/CD Pipeline Ownership:
  • Create and manage the end-to-end ML CI/CD pipeline.
  • Automate data collection, analysis, experimentation, model training, serving, and monitoring.
  • Ensure seamless integration with production systems.
• Continuous Delivery Excellence:
  • Champion continuous delivery practices for AI solutions.
  • Drive efficient and reliable software releases to production.
  • Monitor performance and optimize delivery processes.
• Technical Leadership:
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
  • Foster a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing and growth thrive.
• Collaboration Across Teams:
  • Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and product teams.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to a cohesive and agile development process.
• Innovation and Process Improvement:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance software development and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining AI infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Passion for driving innovation and optimizing software development processes.

Skills

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or similar.
• Understanding of networking, security, and data management principles.
• Ability to work with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Experience

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in roles involving machine learning, software development, DevOps, or a combination thereof.
• Experience in progressively challenging roles with demonstrated leadership, project management, and the ability to architect and implement complex systems.

Domain Expertise:

• Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and workflows.
• Familiarity with various types of machine learning models (e.g., supervised learning, unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning).
• Experience with real-world machine learning applications and challenges, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model selection, and evaluation.
• Knowledge of industry-specific requirements and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, HITRUST) a plus.

Trissential offers a competitive hourly rate for this role up to $87 per hour. All full time employees are eligible for company sponsored health benefits, paid time away from work accrual, and 401k with matching.
