Expert Staffing is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Lawrence, MA

Expert staffing is seeking an experienced Quality Technician to join their team in the Lawrence, Ma area!

Schedule and starting rate:

  • 1st Shift : $21.00/hr.
  • 2nd Shift: $21.75/hr. ($.75 differential included)

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Technician ensures that incoming ingredients, work-in-process components, and finished products conform to company and customer requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

QA Technician must be able to harness in, ascend to the top of the truck, and inspect bulk deliveries.

  • Receive incoming bulk ingredients, ensuring proper receiving procedures are followed.
  • Test bulk ingredients for compliance to specification requirements.
  • Collect samples and test selected incoming ingredients for compliance to specification requirements.
  • Ensure that all laboratory equipment including ovens, mixers, and other testing equipment are working properly. Notify quality management of any potential or actual issues.
  • Release ingredients based on compliance to specifications or other requirements.
  • Perform line checks on production lines to ensure all food safety and food quality parameters are met.
  • Release products from each manufacturing department based on compliance to customer and company requirements.

Required Skills:

  • Proven Experience working in a Quality role
  • 1 to 2 years’ baking experience.
  • Ability to use standard laboratory equipment
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs.
