Our client in the Malden area is looking for a Sanitation Lead to add to their 2nd shift team.

4pm-1:30am (or until finish)

Duties:

• Demonstrate and practice excellent personal hygiene and follow GMPs throughout all aspects of the job.
• Maintain clean and tidy work conditions and assist in the cleanup of the work area, as needed.
• Maintain the high standards of company with regard to food safety and food quality and deliver high quality results.
• Communicate successfully with a bilingual staff
• Regularly lift, move, and or/push up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure plant cleanliness is maintained according to the master sanitation schedule.
• Schedule and assign duties to appropriate personnel in order to stay in compliance.
• Ensure all team members are properly trained and using cleaning chemicals to ensure they are used properly and within established limits.
• Manage and monitor all personnel within department on shift.
• Address any/all personnel situations that arise.
• Oversee and demonstrate advance process knowledge with regard to:
• Break-down, cleaning, and re-assembly of production equipment
• Preventing overflow of items between shifts
• Mechanical cleaning equipment in use
• Chemical titration
• SSOP’s
• Inspections
• Shift check-list completion and verification
• Line set-up for production
• Staffing needs by task and area
• Schedule and implement Master Sanitation Schedule
• Complete Chemical Inventory on routine schedule
• Monitor use, condition, and assignment of PPE Materials for sanitation staff

Experience:

Previous experience in food Sanitation industry preferred
Demonstrated ability in supervising and leading a team
Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and equipment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members
Experience managing inventory and maintaining supplies
Excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
