**Job Description**

The Transportation Operations Analyst is responsible for driving carrier and service provider performance through collaboration and coordination of people, carriers, and facilities. Their ability to understand and communicate customer needs to multiple stakeholders is crucial to the success of the overall organization. In this role, having a dynamic personality, strong analytical and organizational skills, and positive attitude creates meaningful relationships with cross functional teams allowing for greater efficiencies, and process improvements.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

* Drive carrier and service provider performance for the US Hub or Spoke locations

* Collect and interpret data, identify opportunities related to transportation operations and prepare cost saving recommendations

* Assist with movement of shipments

* Monitor inbound and outbound deliveries ensuring it reaches destination as requested

* Develop and monitor carrier KPIs and metrics for transportation analysis

* Ensure all operations adhere to shipping laws, guidelines and regulations

* Prepare and report out weekly reporting on operational metrics

* Coordinate and collaborate with multiple warehouses, carriers and service providers across locations and regions on transportation needs

* Manage and influence corrective actions for ongoing delivery issues/opportunities

* Proactively approach and resolve bottlenecks in the shipping and receiving processes

* Update and document standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training materials

**Qualifications**

* 2-3 Years of Transportation & Logistics related experience

* 1-2 Years of Warehousing experience ( preferred)

* Customer Service: Acts and thinks with the customers needs in mind.

* Strong, demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Business tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google Sheets, GMail, Drive, Google Docs, etc.)

* Business Communication: Writes, speaks, and presents clearly, succinctly and professionally across a variety of communication settings and adjusts communication style to the audience

* Adaptability: Adapts to and embraces change with composure, resilience, and perseverance in the face of constraints, high pressure, and adverse situations. Ability to adapt in a dynamic and always changing environment

* Time Management: Strong time management, multitasking and prioritization skills with the ability to re-prioritize work as needed
