Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Technician to join our team. As a Line Technician, you will be responsible for performing various duties related to mechanical repairs and maintenance of vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power tools and hand tools.
Duties:
- Perform automotive repair and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to engine repairs, brake repairs, and electrical system repairs
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs
- Use power tools and hand tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components
- Assist with auto body repairs and restoration projects as needed
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive service or related field is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for repairs and maintenance tasks
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of auto body repair techniques is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
