General Summary:

Prepares estimates for job proposals in urethane and rubber products by calculating costs for labor, material, time requirements and specifications.

Essential Job Functions:

• Drives margin improvement by creating value in design and customer issues. Adheres to company guidelines for quotation values.
• Computes cost by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements and inputs into the business system.
• Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
• Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information based on format for customer submission.
• Preparation, documentation and follow up of part and tool estimates/quotes within time constraints.
• Responsible for fact gathering and information gathering to determine pricing and maintain cost database and sourcing vendors.
• Responsible for follow-up leads and working with customers on part requests.
• Attends team meetings and provides technical assistance to sales team and other internal departments directly responsible for engineering and manufacturing.
• Prepares, conducts and/or assists in technical presentations to customers.
• Attends and participants in job order meetings.
• Interacts with suppliers to acquire cost and basic technical specifications to complete estimates.
• Front line communicator acting as the face of Exotic ERP Division.

• Responsible for profitability of company and attaining goals and objectives set forth by the Board of Directors.
• Participates in corporate on-boarding and orientation programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Associates degree in related area of responsibility (equivalent work experience may be substituted).
• One (1) year experience in area of responsibility.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Advanced PC skills.
• Organizational skills required to prioritize, plan and coordinate work activities and resources in area of responsibility.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with associates, customers, business partners and management team.
• Demonstrated teamwork approach with superiors, peers and subordinates utilizing skills in oral communication, active listening, written and oral directions and cooperating with and assisting others when needed.

Working Conditions:

• Normal business office environment with regular (up to 100% of work time) exposure to noise, dust, office equipment and supplies.
• Physical dexterity needed to bend, stretch, lift and reach.
• Ability to sit or stand for extensive periods throughout the day.
• Ability to perform basic office tasks using standard office equipment.
• Ability to use a keyboard and computer.
