Currently, we are seeking individuals for a PowerApps Developer opportunity with our client in Cleveland, Ohio. This is a very exciting opportunity working with one of the top employers in the area. This opportunity is 100% remote! Candidate MUST reside in the United States.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of relevant work experience in making manual intensive processes more efficient with automation.
Responsibilities:
- Proficient in supporting automated data and web solutions.
- Proficient with relational and non-relational data sources.
- Proficient extracting, transforming, and loading tools/processes/languages (such as SSIS, Python, data orchestration tools like Prefect), multi-dimensional object creation (such as SSAS) and data warehouse creation/maintenance.
- Proficient coding in at least one of the programming languages used in analytics, application development, and/or data science.
- Ability to present information in several ways to meet audience needs.
- Proficient in analysis and problem solving with the ability to determine root cause and then recommend solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, time management and organizational skills.
- Stays current on emerging design patterns, software development concepts and enterprise and BI best practices
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with project stakeholders and team members.
- Experience with project management methodologies and software development methodologies.
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communications skills with the ability to translate technical information into understandable terms to a variety of audiences.
- Foundational skills related to data analytics and data visualization.
- Negotiation skills and ability to influence others by educating and sharing information.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve goals and accomplish work
- Coaching skills and ability to assist others in learning new technical and professional capabilities.
Required Skills:
- Microsoft PowerApps; Premium connectors with SQL
- SQL experience
- Data Engineering skills; SSIS/Alteryx experience
Preferred Skills:
- Physical Data Modeling
- Business Automation experience (specifically with Microsoft Power Automate)
- Prefect would be a plus, as that is the future as this team looks to use Snowflake
