We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic General Manager to lead our team and drive the success of our new venture.

Position Overview: As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our escape room facility. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing a dedicated team, and ensuring the smooth execution of all aspects of our business. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the growth and success of our brand-new escape room adventure.

*Note: Onsite hours are typically: Wed & Thurs 3:30pm-9pm, Fri 3:30pm-10pm, Sat 10:30am-11:30pm & Sun 10:30am-10pm. Your shift managers can help with open & close if needed, but you'll be required to supervise all public hours. Additional opportunities for OT with private events.

Compensation: Base salary range $35-40K Profit participation program and/or interval bonuses.

Responsibilities:

1. Operational Excellence:

· Ensure the seamless operation of all escape room adventures, from scheduling and staffing to maintenance and customer service.

· Previous technical experience with AV and wiring is a PLUS to help with room maintenance

· Implement and optimize operational procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

2. Team Leadership:

· Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of Game Hosts, customer service representatives, and support staff.

· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity and teamwork.

3. Customer Experience:

· Uphold our commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences by maintaining high standards of service and safety.

· Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve the escape room adventures.

4. Marketing and Sales:

· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention.

· Monitor sales performance, identify opportunities for growth, and contribute to marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

• An outgoing personality with a flair for original thinking who can operate autonomously
• Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality industry.
• Experience with hiring employees
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A passion for providing outstanding customer service.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Social Media savvy and professional practices
