The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) has overall responsibility for managing daily operations of a single restaurant (10-45 employees) ensuring delivery on guest satisfaction, and ensuring desired restaurant outcomes (i.e., increased sales, profitability, and employee retention). The RGM leads the restaurant management team and oversees the financial controls, operations, people development, Guest service and compliance within the restaurant across all shifts.
Responsibilities:
• Hire, onboard, train, coach and develop a team of awesome employees to be as good as you (or better)
• Create and/or approve schedules based on weekly forecasts and Management and Crew availability
• Ensure restaurant is kept clean, and up to TB standards, so it's a fresh place to come and enjoy some Bueno food
• Address repair and maintenance activities ensuring Taco Bueno standards are met at all times
• Manage all operational, people, financial and customer aspects of your restaurant to have a well-rounded business
• Set goals for yourself and your restaurant, and communicate to the teams - because we're all in this together
• Ownership and review of cash, food, labor, and inventory controls
• Be a champion of a "having fun while you work" culture and bringing out the best in your team
• Handle all team member relations with respect and care, notifying the appropriate resource when necessary
