Exhale Sinus TMJ | Headache | Sleep in Schaumburg, IL is opening a new location in Rockford, IL.
We are dedicated to providing care for patients with Sinus, Nasal, TMJ, Headache and Sleep conditions. We employ physicians who specialize in ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat/Otolaryngology) as well as advanced practice providers including a nurse practitioner and physician assistants.
We are looking for an experienced Surgery Scheduler to join our team for our "soon to open" Rockford location. Helping patients feel comfortable going through the steps to schedule surgery. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong customer service background, and the ability to motivate and team player.
Surgery Scheduler : Experience is preferred
- MUST be able to train at our Schaumburg, IL location for 3 months
- MUST have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work 8-5 pm (Monday-Friday)
- Provide excellent customer service
- Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist patients with Insurance questions
- Assist the surgery nurse
- Familiar with ICD/CPT codes
- Schedule patients for surgical procedures
- Maintain surgical scheduling system
- Must have knowledge of how to pre-certify
- Must have computer knowledge
- Must be a team player
- Multi-tasking
- Other duties as assigned
- At least 2 years of surgery scheduling experience is a plus
- High School Diploma/GED required, College degree preferred
- Effective communication and interaction with employers, patients, providers, managers and other colleagues
