We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time position. Preferred candidates should have 3 years of related maintenance operations experience and be willing and able to learn.

Job Overview:

- The Maintenance Technician will have a crucial role in the company by conducting preventative and reactionary maintenance operations to maintain critical equipment and infrastructure within the facility to reduce downtime. This employee will be asked to be very attentive to detail, supportive of staff, and conduct in a professional manner always. Organization:

- Will be a member of the Maintenance Team with regular interaction and support from the Senior Management Team.

Essential Duties:

- Perform common mechanical operations including the implementation and maintenance of electrical systems, pumps, motors, A/C's, chillers, compressors, etc.

- Have the ability to be flexible as day-to-day tasks will differ in complexity and urgency.

- Support the manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance of new projects and implementation of proprietary processes in support of specialty chemical production. Work with a small engineering and maintenance team in the design, procurement, machining, installation, and hand over to operators of novel chemical synthesis equipment. Additionally, conduct regular maintenance and any other duties determined to be required or assigned.

- Safely operate machinery and hand tools with occasional exposure to fumes, moving parts, risk of electrical shock, and any other hazards associated with a chemical manufacturing facility.

- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

- Adhere to all safety regulations.

Position Qualifications:

- Strong and effective technical communicator between the chemical/engineering team and any other employees in the organization

- Ability to read/understand technical/policy SOPs and manuals

- Implement common sense/cost saving measures in the procurement of materials and resources to get the job done in a timely fashion

- Flexible and reliable with assisting any member of the team on any project

- Physical ability to stand/walk and safely lift/move objects in excess of ~40 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
