Site Maintenance Technician

Location: Rockdale, TX

Schedule: Full Time

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm

Job Summary:

As the Site Maintenance Technician, you will report to the Site Manager and will be responsible for conducting regular preventative maintenance of the bitcoin mining immersion infrastructure, as well as vehicles and equipment. This will include preventative maintenance on 3-phase motors, pumps, fans, plumbing, low voltage electrical, water systems, as well as other basic building and site maintenance items. You will perform regular inspections and complete routine testing as well. This role will be a key support function in the Mining operations working alongside Data Center Operators, Miner Repair Techs and Night Shift Technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical motors, plumbing systems, and company vehicles as needed.
• Assist with welding, fabrication, pipe fitting and other on-site projects as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of many aspects of the operation including leak inspections, fan & motor inspections, pump health checks, water systems etc.
• Respond to repair ticket requests promptly.
• Operate and perform maintenance on equipment like scissor lifts, forklifts, sky tracks, floor scrubbers and other equipment.
• Interact respectfully with all contractors and managers on site. 
• Complete daily reporting to track maintenance and service progress to the Site Manager.
• Assist with warranty information collection and submissions for Rhodium equipment.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Prior technical or construction/laborer experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined – has an aptitude for mechanical systems and components.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Demonstrates adaptability and is able to pivot to new tasks as needed based on dynamic conditions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Must be able to perform physical labor, often in high-heat situations.
• Effective problem-solving skills, communication, and results oriented.
• Comprehensive understanding of Low voltage electrical.

Physical Demands:

TheFacilities Maintenance Technician must be able to speak, hear, see, read,write, type, dial, reach, and bend. Sedentary work: standing, walking, andsitting for prolonged periods of time – repetitive motion of hands, fingers,and wrists.
