Title: Processing Clerk
Shift Time: Sunday to Thur.6AM to 2:30PM
Pay rate: $17/hr (Final will be decided on basis of interview)
Location: Charlotte, NC, 28216

POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform processing duties, including photocopying, balancing activities, data entry, deposit encoding, report and statement generation, incoming work sorting, mailing materials to customers, and operating departmental machines (Opex 150, Opex 50/51, NCR 7780, Mail Sorter Machine, Pitney Bowes Postage Machine). The Associate may also perform a majority of the listed functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Latitude of discretionary judgment: Does not deviate from set proximities or identified specifications.
• Complexity of Assignments: Involves straightforward application of departmental processes typically associated with retail accounts.
• Creativity Required: Limited; works under direct supervision.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Completion of high school diploma or GED preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Proficient in operating office equipment.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations using a 10-key keypad by sight.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (mail tubs/mail trays).
• Ability to stand or sit for long continuous periods.
• Use of electronic equipment, including computers and telephones, for extended periods.
