Job Title: PRINT PRODUCTION OPERATOR IV

Exela is currently seeking a full time PRINT PRODUCTION OPERATOR IV who is customer service and career-minded; and, who are able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

The PRINT PRODUCTION OPERATOR IV is responsible for ensuring the highest levels of customer care. Ensure adherence to business guidelines, safety & security procedures. Responsible for executing the day to day print production requirements for a 24hour/7 day a week print operation with emphasis on the consistent execution of the Quality Management System.

Pay: $17.00 to $18.00 Per Hour dependent upon experience, skills and job related knowledge

Job Summary: PRINT PRODUCTION OPERATOR IV

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Support the Quality Management System, including participating in the Corrective and Preventative Action process, and assisting in the development of procedures, work instructions and quality system documents.
• Follow all Exela AZ - DES facility policies, including health & safety, building security, data security, and a harassment free work environment.
• Manage job submission to multiple high-speed cut-sheet printers utilizing Emtex job submission software.
• Operation of OCE VP 6250 high-speed cut-sheet printers, Troy 950 Micr Printers and various small office equipment.
• First level maintenance and troubleshooting of OCE VP 6250’s, and Troy 950’s.

· Responsible for all operator aspects of the assignment: Operate high-speed cut sheet print devices. Set-up, adjust, and monitor equipment, if applicable, to ensure proper quality. Performing manual aspects of the assignment, including manual assembly and inspection, to ensure proper quality. Operate related equipment including

a. Mail Machines

b. Folders

c. Significant bending, reaching, lifting, walking and standing required.

• Computer proficiency in email environments, MS Word and Excel is required
• Must be willing and able to work overtime if necessary
• Keeping work areas clean and organized, and free of un-needed production components.

Key Skills:

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

· Experience in print/mail operations preferred

· Demonstrated knowledge and experience operating complex machinery including system print and inserter equipment preferred

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a related functional area.
• Identify non-conforming product and bad materials and ensure leadership is aware of any bad materials.
• Use pallet jacks as necessary to move skids of paper and finished products.
• Assist with inventory management of paper and supplies.
• Actively monitor product for conformity based on Job Specific Work Instructions and Control Plans.
• Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment.

· Effective communication skills.

· Competency in performing multiple functional tasks/projects simultaneously.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or higher education preferred, Minimum of one-year customer service related experience required.
• Ability to adhere to and administer companies policies and procedures.

Pay Disclosure:

"The pay range for this position starts at $17.00 to $18.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.”
