Job Summary
The Executive Dodge Jeep Service Advisor is a full time, customer service role in the auto industry. This individual will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by transcribing customer vehicle concerns, ordering needed parts with accuracy, scheduling repairs, and collecting payment. Additionally, the Service Advisor will be a people-person and a problem solver to guide customers through the repair process. This job is located in Wallingford, Connecticut and offers $75,000/year in salary.
Compensation & Benefits
The Executive Dodge Jeep Service Advisor will be compensated with a base salary of $75,000/year. This role will receive the standard perks of a full-time employee such as paid vacation time, health, vision, and dental insurance options, 401(k) retirement plan, and employee discounts.
Responsibilities
- Greet and build rapport with guests and customers
- Listen and transcribe customer’s vehicle concerns
- Obtain relevant information to accurately order necessary parts for repairs
- Create an estimate for vehicle repairs based on diagnoses and confer with customers
- Schedule and arrange necessary repairs
- Perform administrative duties to close out repairs
- Collect, audit, and process payments
- Maintain comprehensive documentation
- Constantly strive to exceed customer expectations
- Educate and inform customers on their vehicle’s care and maintenance
Requirements
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a strong customer service/client relationship focus
- Capable of multitasking and meetings tight deadlines
- Highly organized and efficient
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain experience and proficiency in the automobile industry
