Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer service and the smooth operation of our service center. Responsibilities:

• Greeting and Technician Assignment:
• Warmly greet customers and efficiently direct them to an available technician.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely and efficient assignment of technicians.

• Repair Consultation:
• Consult with technicians about needed repairs and explore alternatives to costly repairs.
• Provide customers with clear explanations of recommended services and available alternatives.

• Customer Communication:
• Answer customer inquiries about service outcomes promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with technicians when necessary to address customer concerns or provide additional information.

• Cost and Warranty Information:
• Inform customers about potential cost savings and warranty protections associated with recommended services.

• Vehicle Repair Decision Support:
• Assist customers in making informed decisions about whether to proceed with repairs through our dealership’s shop or explore other options, such as trading in their vehicle.

• Scheduling and Workflow Management:
• Oversee and manage the service center’s scheduling to ensure optimal workflow and customer satisfaction.

• Service Updates:
• Keep customers informed of any changes in service timelines and notify them promptly when their vehicle is ready for pickup.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of previous automotive experience in an aftermarket or independent shop environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and dedicated to maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment, including wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic tools, AC equipment, etc.

Pay: $1,100.00 - $1,500.00 per week
