Job Description
Milkshake Concepts is an experiential hospitality company based in Dallas, TX with 9 unique restaurant and nightlife brands spanning 14 locations and growing. We are looking for an experienced Sr. Graphic Designer with a strategic mind, creative soul, and passion for storytelling to lead our graphic design and visual strategy across all brands.
This role requires strong design skills, great attention to detail, creativity, self-motivation, and the ability to work with strict and short deadlines. The designer is required to work as an independent AND as part of a team to contribute innovative and creative ideas, process artwork from concept to completion, ensure all work meets deadlines and adhere to brand standards.
This is a full-time in-office role at our corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX.
Requirements
- Several years of experience working with hospitality brands including restaurants, nightlife, and/or entertainment
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant area of expertise
- Highly proficient with Adobe's suite of products including Photoshop and Illustrator
- Must have experience designing for multiple mediums including print, digital, environmental, and interactive graphics
- Experience with web design and development is a plus
- Ideal candidate will be familiar with laser and inkjet printers/printing processes and pre-press production
- Experience with motion graphics
Responsibilities
- Deliver thoughtful and effective designs across a multitude of categories including but not limited to physical and digital menus, digital and print advertisements, emails, print promotional materials, marketing collateral, and web design
- Build new and innovative brands from the ground up including thoughtful logo design, color selection, design elements, textures, themes, etc
- Keep current Milkshake Concepts’ branding fresh and relevant
- Demonstrate understanding of color theory, typography, and effective layouts
- Receive and implement design feedback effectively and professionally
- Develop unique uniform and merchandise programs for select brands
- Demonstrate understanding of marketing principles and work hand-in-hand with our marketing and social media team
- Work autonomously and manage shifting priorities to meet deadlines
