RN Unit Manager Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid New York RN
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility
RN Unit Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist the DON and ADON in evaluating and directing day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department
- Review and address complaints and grievances from department personnel
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain safe nursing coverage
- Implement progressive counseling and disciplinary actions as needed
- Provide professional guidance and supervision to unit staff
