RN Unit Manager Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid New York RN
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility

RN Unit Manager Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the DON and ADON in evaluating and directing day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department
  • Review and address complaints and grievances from department personnel
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain safe nursing coverage
  • Implement progressive counseling and disciplinary actions as needed
  • Provide professional guidance and supervision to unit staff
