Job Summary
Position will support day to day donor engagement operations based at the Latrobe Area Hospital Charitable Foundation and the Westmoreland/Frick Hospital Foundation. Tasks include: database management and reporting, virtual donor engagement, online research, event registrations, and other office-related duties. Assists and supports all special event planning and related tasks.
Essential Job Functions
o Maintains confidentiality and complies with data privacy regulations and policies.
o Accurately and effectively captures data metrics and reports to support foundation operations.
o Entering and tracking of donations received and participating organizations.
o Documents all donations with correct name and designation of contribution.
o Composes and generates routine contribution acknowledgements for signature by the Foundation Manager, Chief Philanthropy Officer, or Board Chair in a timely manner.
o Compiles invitation mailing lists.
o Processes registrations.
o Attends events to help with registration and other functions.
o Schedules committee meetings relating to upcoming events.
o Tracks and records RSVPs for events.
o Serves as an ambassador of the Foundations to donors and Independence Health employees by conveying the Foundations' culture of friendliness, respect, and its mission.
o Develops and maintains relationships with donors and potential donors.
o Serves as gatekeeper for all communication to the Foundation Office, including answering the telephones, receiving/routing mail, greeting visitors, assessing nature of communication, and responding appropriately.
o Interfaces effectively, regardless of venue, with Foundation board members, donors, other community members, and Independence Health System employees.
o Maintains files relating to department initiatives and donors.
