Excel Engineering, Inc. is seeking a team-oriented, highly motivated individual for a Construction Supervisor, Level IV position. This is for our solar/power utility client.?

Primary Responsibilities 

• Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects, projects that are small to moderate in scope, risk, and/or organizational span, including subprojects of larger, more complex projects.? 
• Day to day experience within the solar plant. No two days will be the same.
• Overall responsibilities are to oversee safety, provide quality control, and ensure the contractors are following specifications. 
• Full time on site, little to no travel 
• 50 hours per week on average. OT expected occasionally.

General Responsibilities 

• Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures.? 
• Develops project plan and drives project milestones. 
• Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.? 
• Provides day-to-day direction to project resources. This ensures the project teams receive the resources and support needed to reach their defined objectives. 
• Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
• Prepares documentation and status reports. 

Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience in cross functional skills across the following disciplines: civil, mechanical, and electrical. Engineering degree preferred. 
• Ability to make decisions, solve conflicts and act as not only a team player, but a motivator.
• Previous experience running solar projects. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc. Proficient with writing reports and presenting.
