Front Desk Receptionist

Job Description:

We are a new children's dental office located in Frisco looking to hire a self motivated, solution-driven and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing office. This is a part-time position.

As a Front Desk Receptionist at edc Smiles Children’s Dentistry, you will be the first point of contact for our young patients and their families. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. In addition, you will also be involved in supporting our marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients and their families with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
  • Verify patient information and insurance details accurately.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about our services.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing patient records.
  • Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Assist doctor with dental procedures as needed
  • Assist in marketing efforts, including but not limited to social media updates, email campaigns, and promotional events.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental office setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and their parents.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using Open Dental or other dental office management software
  • Knowledge of basic dental terminology
  • Willingness to support marketing efforts and contribute creative ideas.
  • RDA license required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
