Position Summary

This Positon is Open to Relocation for the Right Person!*

Evoqua is looking for a Water Treatment Technician to report to our Ronkonkoma, NY facility and service the surrounding areas.

What your day will look like as a Water Treatment Technician

The Water Treatment Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle, within our Light Industries Division.

Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous technical / mechanical / plumbing experience is especially encouraged.

This position has general day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons / weekends.

Position Requirements for Water Treatment Technicians

• HS diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
• Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices
• Ability to work in a high customer facing position
• Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS : 50% or more daily travel

Compensation starting between $28.80-$32 / hour dependent on experience and other factors.
