Site operations support including the following aspects : managing the stockroom inventory including supplying materials to building occupants, assisting with shipping regulated materials and receiving site deliveries, various day to day site operational tasks, and assisting with required record keeping.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing supplies : respond to incoming requests from building occupants for materials, including laboratory supplies and chemicals.

Assist with placing orders and replenishing items.

Support light maintenance requests, set-up conference rooms per requests, record meter readings for utilities, light bulb replacements, etc.

Assist personnel responsible for shipping and receiving. Provide assistance to Site Maintenance and EH&S departments with recordkeeping and tasks as assigned.

Assist with waste disposal in accordance with site requirements and applicable regulations.

Support ongoing day to day site operations.

Develop skills to support shipping, municipal waste disposal, and management of inventories.

REQUIREMENTS

One-Two years of Experience required

Willingness to learn DOT shipping regulations and EPA requirements for hazardous waste disposal with appropriate training

Inventory management or customer service experience

Basic understanding of Microsoft Office required

Forklift experience preferred but not required

Associate degree preferred but not required

Strong problem solving and communication skills

Strong work ethic

Must be comfortable working in an industrial setting

Must be comfortable working with a team
