Company Overview: EVO Packaging Inc. is a contract manufacturing and packaging facility specializing in dry food and beverage products. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan to ensure optimal equipment functionality, minimizing downtime, and maximizing production efficiency.
• Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance activities, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Oversee the maintenance of all production equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations and food safety and quality assurance standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Collaborate with food safety and quality assurance team to ensure repairs and maintenance are performed in such a way that it does not introduce potential safety issues for product, food processing, or food contract packaging.
• Lead and mentor a team of skilled maintenance technicians.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team operates efficiently and safely.
• Develop and manage the maintenance department budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers of maintenance-related services and equipment.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory.
• Generate regular reports on key performance indicators and present findings to management.

Qualifications:

• Years of proven maintenance experience in food production environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and best practices.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
