We are looking for an entry to mid-level Industrial Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a background in mechanical maintenance and a working knowledge of industrial machinery and tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all types of industrial machinery and equipment. This position requires problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and the willingness to take on challenging tasks.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Follow applicable safety, quality an environmental programs, policies and procedures
Install, set up, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on molding machines and auxiliary assembly equipment.
Properly document repairs and work orders.
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Daily improvements.
Ensure all safety policies are followed.
Other projects/responsibilities assigned.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
- Communicate with VSL or maintenance manager.
- Review preventive maintenance list.
- Press cleaning.
- Meetings to attend shift, plant, huddle and book club.
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma a plus.
- Must be able to lift at least 80 lbs.
- Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time.
- Bi-lingual a plus (English/Spanish).
- Must pass physical, drug screen and participate in E-Verify.
