Job Description

The #RVI Repair Technician II will work with the team that is responsible for the in-house testing, troubleshooting, repair and calibration of Evident Instrumentation used in laboratory, manufacturing and other environments.

This position is 100% on-site Monday through Friday. Our experienced team is ready to help you succeed in your career with Evident!

Job Duties

  • Perform in-house testing, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of portable RVI (remote visual inspection) Evident Instrumentation.
  • Ensure timely, professional, and effective response to customer service needs to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for analysing results, and maintenance of logs and required documentation.
  • Prepare technical reports and Quality Control data for each unit’s record.
  • Follow detailed repair, calibration, and administration procedures for Evident products with excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task numerous customer repairs through to completion.
  • Excel in fast paced environment, ability to multi-task and work / meet shipping deadlines.
  • Record all pertinent repair activities with appropriate detail in the business CRM systems.
  • Prepare technical reports and Quality Control data for service events as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent in Military or Technical School is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years of experience repairing instruments and/or electronic devices required.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend standard Engineering documentation, such as, schematics, BOM’s, test procedures, wiring diagrams and assembly drawings.
  • Must be able to effectively use the following electronic test equipment and software: multi-meter and PC diagnostic tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in a calibration and repair facility is strongly desired.
  • Experience in technical after sales service environment/organization field service is highly desired.
  • Excellent vision for precision work is a plus.
