Job Title: SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Developer

Location: Austin, TX(Hybrid position)

Overview:
As an SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining SAP SD solutions to support sales and distribution processes. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, analyze complex sales processes, and develop efficient solutions within the SAP SD module. Your role will involve configuring SAP SD functionalities, customizing business processes, and integrating SAP SD with other systems. You will also provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth operation of SAP SD processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to sales and distribution processes.
Understand business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using SAP SD functionalities.
Solution Design:

Design SAP SD solutions based on business requirements, industry best practices, and integration points with other SAP modules.
Create technical specifications and documentation for SAP SD configurations and customizations.
Configuration and Customization:

Configure SAP SD modules including Sales Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Delivery Processing, and Logistics Execution.
Customize SAP SD functionalities to address specific business needs, including enhancements using ABAP programming language if required.
Develop and maintain SAP SD reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects).
Integration:

Integrate SAP SD with other SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO).
Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between SAP SD and other systems, including external systems.
Testing and Deployment:

Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for SAP SD solutions.
Prepare deployment plans and coordinate with stakeholders for smooth implementation of SAP SD changes.
Support and Maintenance:

Provide ongoing technical support for SAP SD applications, addressing user issues, and resolving incidents and problems.
Perform routine maintenance activities such as system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
Training and Documentation:

Create training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on SAP SD functionalities.
Document SAP SD configurations, customizations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
Certification in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) is highly desirable.
Proven experience as an SAP SD Consultant or Developer, with hands-on experience in SAP SD implementation projects.
In-depth knowledge of SAP SD module configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Familiarity with other SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO).
Proficiency in ABAP programming language for SAP SD enhancements is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
