Laser Operator responsibilities:

Basic Functions:

· Set up jobs

· Operate and oversee 3200, 4000, and 5000 Watt Trumpf lasers

· Manufacture per representative samples, templates, fixtures, prints, routers

· Perform in-process inspections per the specified sampling frequencies and characterisitics noted on the router. If no characteristics are identified, the operator is responsible for choosing the critical characteristics relative to his operation.

· Maintain the quality and integrity of the products by following established quality standards and guidelines

· Material handling

· Recording accurate production times

· Keep area clean, maintain machines per PM schedules

· Maintaining bulk steel, drop steel and raw material storage areas

· Assist with problem detection, problem-solving, and ways to increase productivity

· Keep equipment in working order and report equipment issues immediately

· Completing 8D Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

· Willingness to learn

· Computer Literate

· Team player

· Ability to drive Tow Motor

· Ability to read Blue Prints

· Basic math skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
