Driver
Under the supervision of the Transportation Coordinator, the Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of PACE participants. Including transport of participants, meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, and any other transportation as deemed necessary. Responsible for overall cleanliness and safety of the vehicle assigned on a daily basis. Responsible for communicating any safety issue to the Transportation Coordinator.
Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation. Must be able to meet EveryAge's auto insurance carrier's standards for coverage.
Education:High school diploma orequivalent required; Valid North Carolina Drivers License. Successfulcompletion of defensive driving course within four (4) months of hire required,Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
Experience: Have a minimum of one years experience in working with the frail elderly.
