Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate is passionate about working with families and has a bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field or substantial human service experience. Our caseworkers are responsible for helping families identify and work to break down barriers using a strengths-based approach to help them achieve their goals. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and engage in ongoing self-exploration and growth. We aim to foster a culture of inclusivity as we strive to create more robust work environments by welcoming and valuing different ideas, varied perspectives, and backgrounds.

Every Child is looking for an energetic and passionate caseworker to support families in our community. They connect families with resources and support them through service plans to retain custody of their children. They provide life skills teaching, connection to resources, and emotional support in the home and community settings. We have full-time openings in Allegheny, Westmoreland, and Washington counties. This is a 40-hour per-week position that is eligible for overtime.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field preferred, but substantial human service experience may be used in place of a degree; one-two year related experience and/or internship preference; experience working with trauma issues; ability to demonstrate practical problem solving and maintain confidential data; excellent organizational skills with good computer skills; willingness to work a flexible schedule, which may include off-business hours, such as after school, evening, and/or on weekends; ability to adapt to change; a sense of humor; strong ability to personally relate one-on-one with each client and build solid relationships.

About Every Child

Every Childs mission is to build a stronger community and empower families by providing family support and clinical services. Our Clinical Services provide intensive, in-home support based on Structural Family Therapy and Family Systems Theory to assist families who are facing serious emotional and/or behavioral disturbances. Two-person teams, comprised of one Masters and one Bachelors-level clinician, deliver services an average of twice per week.
