Job Description
THE POSITION: EVERSANA data & analytics (D&A) practice is growing rapidly. We are actively looking for a Principal level candidate to help support the rapid growth and expansion of the commercial analytics vertical.

EVERSANA Data & Analytics team applies advanced analytics and AI/machine learning techniques to the breadth of healthcare and non-healthcare data integrated with our deep clinical expertise to provide a unique and unmatched suite of services and products to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:
  • Responsible for a leadership role in implementing EVERSANA D&A business vision and objectives and supporting the strategic development of the business
  • Possess strong understanding of life sciences commercial analytics space and consulting methodologies, as well as subject matter expertise in driving commercial outcomes
  • Assess market needs in life science industry and prioritize business opportunities for EVERSANA data & analytics
  • Ability to own and build a book of business from $2M to $4M, and maintain P&L ownership
  • Lead multi-client engagement teams - structure and build team capabilities to deliver innovative and effective solutions with high levels of client delight
  • Oversee delivery of projects and product plans to ensure successful completion, on-time and within budget
  • Play a lead role in business development, building client relationships and identifying new business opportunities with existing and new clients
  • Engage closely with cross-functional EVERSANA teams to ensure D&A capabilities and solutions reach clients
  • Take responsibility in development and management of external relationships (e.g., client, vendors, external experts)
  • Lead development of proposals for new projects / commercial opportunities
  • Play an active role in data & analytics practice development and build practice level intellectual capital
  • Recruit new team members; manage and coach junior team members and serve as a subject matter expert and thought partner to colleagues across EVERSANA
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.
  • Undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution with a relevant concentration (e.g., computer science, statistics, economics, operations research)
  • Advanced degree(s) (e.g., MBA, PhD, MD) (highly preferred)
  • 9-12 years of work experience in life science consulting or data & analytics (required)
  • Leadership experience in life sciences analytics consulting with focus on data, technology and analytics including working with senior C-level clients (required)
  • Established network of contacts and referrals with the life sciences industry (preferred)
  • Strong experience in life sciences analytics and consulting services (required)
  • Demonstrated track record of success in leadership, planning and execution of diverse engagements in life sciences or healthcare industry (required)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication skills and ability to deal with unstructured real-world problems (required)
  • Excellent communication, influencing and relationship building skills (required)
  • Knowledge of key issues, trends and current developments in the pharmaceutical, medtech and healthcare industries (required

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $240K to $275K and is not applicable to locations outside of North America. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
