Evergreen Woods is now accepting applications for a part-time Wellness/Fitness Assistant. This position collaborates to deliver outstanding customer service and develops an engaging wellness program for the members/residents that integrates and meets their interests and needs.

This position instructs classes, promotes safety and health education, and supports design and implementation of an all-inclusive wellness program that addresses the components of physical fitness and health related to the geriatric community. The Wellness Associate shall operate the wellness program in accordance with company policies and procedures and compliance with federal, state and local regulations under the direction of the Wellness Director.

• Four year college or university degree desired (preferably in Exercise Science or related field).
• Certifications in CPR, AED, and Group Exercise preferred.
• Certifications from ACE, ACSM, AFAA, ASFA, NSCA or other nationally recognized and accredited fitness association preferred.
• Aquatic certification preferred.
• Group Exercise instructor experience desired.
• One to three years' experience as a personal trainer desired.
• One to three years of exercise or wellness experience with seniors desired
