Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is Hiring an E-Commerce Product Specialist Near Seattle, WA

Job Title: E-Commerce Quality Control Specialist


About the Position

The E-Commerce Quality Control Specialist selects and evaluates donated items to maximize sales revenue. This job requires travel to Goodwill stores within the region to appraise donations and provide production training on quality and pricing. This role is also responsible for processing donated goods and developing content and pricing guidance to E-Commerce Auction Listers.

Salary Range:$22.25/hr

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

  • Travel to assigned stores to guide and assist the capture of donated goods for E-Commerce.
  • Work with stores to sort, label and organize specific items for E-Commerce.
  • Identify rare and collectible items and best venue for on-line sale to achieve the most revenue.
  • Meet minimum daily performance productivity goals.
  • Work independently within the front of store and back of store environment to source donated goods for E-Commerce; label, sort and organize these items for shipping.
  • Provide store team members with E-Commerce specific training: items appropriate for the on-line marketplace, quality criteria, and specific categories of high interest.
  • Provide store team members with training that can be used in ongoing production specific to the store: value/pricing, quality and content.
  • Serve as department knowledge specialist on auction items, providing guidance on value/pricing/quality criteria and specific categories of high interest.
  • Sort donations as needed from in-bound from stores to provide flow of product to the Auction Listers.
  • Provide excellent internal/external customer service.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Demonstrate safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety culture; reports any potential hazards or accidents.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school graduate or equivalency, but not required
  • Minimum 1 year retail experience; thrift industry preferred.
  • Experience sourcing and listing items for the E-Commerce marketplace is preferred.
  • Knowledge of current resale markets; online and thrift.
  • Knowledge of fashion trends.

Computer/Technology Skills:

  • Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Internet research skills
  • Ability to learn new technology and software as related to the job.


Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:

  • Must have valid Washington Driver’s license and proof of insurance along with good driving record.

Physical Abilities:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; have developed fine motor control (grasp, handle, manipulate objects with fingers; standing for long periods, frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing; climbing ladders; able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain).Able to communicate with others effectively both verbally and written, including those who have limited English skills. Maintain reliable attendance.

Work Environment:
