Evergreen Environmental Services is Hiring a Chemical Cleaning Division Manager Near La porte, TX

Description

Evergreen North America is a leading provider of environmental and industrial cleaning solutions to the downstream and midstream energy sectors. We are leaders in each of our respective service lines, including Vapor Control, Chemical Cleaning, Tank Cleaning, Water Treatment, Vacuum Services, Hydroblasting, Hydroexcavation, and Industrial Logistics & Transportation. We currently have openings for a Chemical Cleaning Division Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for running the day to day operations of the Division including, but not limited to direct operational oversight of each project, accounts payable/receivable, assisting HR with personnel risk management, helping and creating organizational budgets in collaboration with Executive Management, and other Division related tasks.

Reporting to the Division VP and serving as a member of the Senior Management Team, this position's primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the organization's operational and division financial functions.

Working with the Management Team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices. This position will also interact with Sales, Finance, Safety, HR, Branch and Executive Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of the Chemical Cleaning Division’s mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management business process and organizational planning.
  2. Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Branch and Support Services (HR, Safety, Finance, etc.), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between Branches/Support and Business functions.
  3. Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
  4. Oversee overall operational management, planning, systems and controls.
  5. Management of Division budget in coordination with Executive Management.
  6. Development of individual Project Managers.
  7. Organization of Divisional documents.
  8. Regular meetings with Executive Management regarding Division operation and planning.
  9. Assist sales team with ongoing prospect goals.
  10. Oversee project budgeting and invoicing.
  11. Manage project cost controls.
  12. Direct Liaison with Customer and Projects.
  13. Develop growth strategy, direct team towards achieving that growth, and recruit individuals to support the strategy.

Requirements

  • Commitment to Evergreen and our mission.
  • High School diploma required, BA in Business, Management or related field preferred.
  • At least ten (10) years experience in Chemical Cleaning/Industrial Management.
  • Strong background and work experience in Chemical Cleaning/Industrial related fields.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point.
  • Strong background and experience related to P&L and Project Controls.
  • Strong background and experience related to Project Budgeting.
  • Strong logistics background managing remote projects.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • General knowledge of contract management and knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing Project Managers and major projects or initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
  • Budget development and oversight experience.
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
  • Excels at operating in an fast paced service environment
  • Excellent people manager, open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.
  • Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization.
  • Ability to look at situations from several points of view.
  • Persuasive with details and facts.
