Primary duties are phone and counter sales of water, wastewater, stormwater and erosion control products.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Generating sales within our established Contractors and Municipalities.
  • Responding to requests from customers for product information.
  • Remaining knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in our customers and competition.
  • Answering phones and waiting on customers at the counter.
  • Supporting Outside Salesmen by entering orders and accessing customer and product information when they are out on the road.
  • Embrace a culture of safety, teamwork, personal excellence, candid conversation, service and humility.
  • Must have a can-do spirit and be willing to do the best that you can.

Knowledge of water, wastewater, stormwater and erosion control products is an asset, but we will also provide on-the-job training. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, self-reliant, and able to build strong customer relationships over the phone and over the counter.

The position must accurately process receiving of inventory, periodic inventory counts, and sales, using an AS-400 based (green screen) computer system.

The successful candidate must pass a criminal and background check, and pre-employment drug screen. Overnight travel may be required at times to attend training and Company seminars.

Physical Demands; While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. Lifting of up to 50 pounds is required.
